Build the habits you want. Quit the ones you don't.
Set a habit and choose when it repeats. Run a timer, count reps, or work rounds. Or name something you are quitting and count the urges you let pass. No accounts.

What is in it
Enough to keep a habit going, and nothing that asks for your attention back.
- 01
Your month on iPad, day by day
The iPad calendar lists every habit on each day with how it went. Tap one to open it on that day.
- 02
A new device picks up where you are
With sync on, a new iPhone or iPad offers to restore your habits from iCloud the first time it opens.
- 03
Take a week off without losing it
Set yourself to Vacation, Sick or Break. Reminders stop, and the days you are away are skipped rather than missed, so your streak waits for you instead of ending.
- 04
Quitting is a habit too
Name something you are stopping and the day is yours unless you say you slipped. Every urge you let pass is one tap, counting up all day, and a day with no urges still counts.
- 05
Work through it, round by round
Build a routine from timed and counted rounds. Put them in order, then finish each one in turn.
- 06
Run a timer or count reps
Set a duration or a target. Hit the goal and the day completes itself.
- 07
Apple Watch runs the work
Run timers, count reps, and check off rounds from your wrist, not just the final habit. Today's tally sits on your watch face.
- 08
Ask Siri, or one tap on Home
Say it and Siri marks the habit done. On Home, hold a habit for the actions you reach for most.
- 09
Not just a score. A trajectory
Zen weighs your schedule and every recorded day to estimate consistency now and plot how it changed. Gains slow, misses fade it gently, a day that fell short counts for part of one, and skips stay neutral.
- 10
Six widgets. Your data at a glance
Six widgets carry today, weekly progress, strength, streak, history, and your running Challenges onto your Home Screen.
- 11
Invite friends. Nothing public
Share a Challenge over iCloud. Everyone keeps a personal habit, with no profiles or public feed.
- 12
Your data, ready for you or AI
Export readable JSONL whenever you want, or keep a copy updating in your private iCloud Drive for an AI assistant you choose.
- 13
Buy it once. Keep every update
No subscriptions, ads, or upsells. Future updates are included. EU purchases have a 14-day withdrawal period under Apple's terms.
- 14
Local first. iCloud if you choose
Zen works from its on-device database. Optional iCloud sync is off until you turn it on.
- 15
See what's due. Complete your day
One list shows what is due today. Tap to complete, or hold for the actions you use most.
- 16
Move through any day
Open the calendar, revisit any date, then return to today in one tap. It reopens where you left it.
- 17
Put everything in your order
Arrange your habits from the menu on Home. Hold and drag Challenges into the order that works for you.
- 18
Choose what Zen shows you
Choose which optional tabs stay in the bar, whether Progress lays its habits out as a grid or a list, and which chart each habit shows.
- 19
Keep the timer outside the app
A running timer stays on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with controls on the app icon.
- 20
Strength, streaks, and a full year
See the current pattern, then open focused trends and a full year of history.
- 21
Trace every day
Every completion, timer, and change stays in an activity log beside the note you wrote for that day.
- 22
A nudge, nothing more
Pick a local reminder for the days a habit repeats. Pause every reminder whenever you want.
- 23
Your tally on the watch face
A complication carries today's count on your watch face, and Siri marks a habit done without opening the app.
- 24
A skip is not a miss
Mark a day done, missed, or skipped. A skip stays neutral instead of breaking the pattern.
236 habits to start from
Worded already, across 16 categories. Pick one and choose when it repeats, or write your own.
Among them: Sauna and cold rounds, 20 pull-ups, Read 30 mins, Daylight within an hour of waking, Brain dump, No social media.
Where your data is
There is no Donado Labs server to hold it, so these three places are all of them.
On the device
Every habit, day, and note lives in a local database on your iPhone. That copy is the original, and the app reads and writes it without a network.
In your iCloud, if you turn it on
Optional sync passes your data between your own Apple devices through your iCloud account. It is off until you switch it on, and it is yours, not ours.
With the people you invite
A Challenge is shared over iCloud with whoever you invite. It is opt in, there are no profiles, and everyone keeps a habit of their own.
